Bachschuster Architecture: The foundation lies in Ingolstadt, but it’s at home everywhere.

It’s always an especially interesting job contributing to the architectural face of your home town.  The Bachschuster Architecture Team has shown future ideas for urban planning in Ingolstadt in numerous plans. Many of these ideas were far ahead of their time and became topical local planning targets decades later. This development both shows and recognises time and again that the team has exactly predicted future developments. For over 20 years, building structures in Ingolstadt and the region have been realised that partly generate architectural tourism from the whole world such as the Alki-Tech building in Ingolstadt/Unsernherrn. Not only because of its exceptional architecture but also in particular due to its self-sufficient building technology. Already a visionary realisation 15 years ago, these solutions still set standards for the most modern energy use today. A current highlight is the pedestrian bridge solution as the connection from Bavaria’s largest shopping centre WestPark to the future National Garden Festival 2020 in Ingolstadt.

A great knowledge about future area needs combined with a bold architectural style means that academic cooperations such as with the Technical University of Munich (TUM) come about. Take a walk through Ingolstadt with Peter Bachschuster ...
